Plagiarism Screening Policy

Plagiarism Screening Policy

The Journal of Global Economy is committed to ensuring the originality and integrity of all published research. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism before being sent for peer review.

The journal uses plagiarism detection tools and editorial assessment to identify instances of copied or improperly cited material.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

• copying text, ideas, data, or images from other sources without proper citation
• presenting someone else's work as one’s own
• excessive reproduction of previously published work without acknowledgement
• self-plagiarism or duplicate publication

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts are entirely original and that all sources are properly cited.

Editorial Action in Case of Plagiarism

If plagiarism is detected at different stages of the publication process, the following actions may be taken:

Before Peer Review

If significant plagiarism is detected before the review process, the manuscript will be immediately rejected.

During Peer Review

If reviewers identify plagiarism during the review process, the manuscript will be rejected and the authors may be asked for clarification.

After Publication

If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be corrected or retracted depending on the severity of the issue.

Author Responsibility

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Global Economy confirm that:

• the manuscript is original work
• all sources have been properly cited
• the work has not been published elsewhere

Failure to comply with these requirements may result in rejection, correction, or retraction of the article.

Ethical Standards

The journal follows internationally recognized publication ethics standards and guidelines recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
