Why This Programme?

SPSS is one of the most widely used statistical software packages in academic research. It is particularly useful for researchers who need to organise, analyse and interpret survey and research data without writing programming code.

SPSS101 has been specially designed for research scholars, MBA and postgraduate students, faculty members and professionals who wish to analyse research data using SPSS. The programme focuses on practical research data analysis, interpretation of output and selection of appropriate statistical tests.

Participants will learn to prepare research datasets, generate descriptive statistics, create frequency tables and cross-tabulations, perform commonly used statistical tests and interpret SPSS output. No previous SPSS experience is required.

Who Should Attend?

PhD Scholars

Analyse thesis and dissertation data confidently using SPSS.

MBA & PG Students

Perform statistical analysis for dissertations, projects and assignments.

Faculty Members

Strengthen practical skills in statistics and research methodology.

Researchers & Professionals

Use SPSS for practical research and survey data analysis.

What Will You Learn?

SPSS Fundamentals

Understand the SPSS interface, Variable View, Data View, coding and research data preparation.

Descriptive Statistics

Generate frequencies, mean, median, mode, standard deviation and other summary statistics.

Data Analysis

Work with cross-tabulation, Chi-Square and commonly used parametric tests.

Non-Parametric Tests

Learn Sign, Mann-Whitney, Wilcoxon, Kruskal-Wallis and Spearman correlation.

Output Interpretation

Read SPSS output, understand p-values and report findings in research language.
