Economic Performance of Seventeen Major (Indian) States during 2004-05 to 2008-09

This paper is an attempt to analysis the issue of inter-state disparities in the growth of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and Per Capita Net State Domestic Product (NSDP) of the seventeen major states beginning from the 2004-05 to 2008-09. Finding of this research shows that inter-regional disparities in the growth of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and Per Capita Net State Domestic Product (NSDP) of seventeen major states have decreased from 49.8 to 27.2 and 71.2 to 33.5 respectively in the recent years i.e. from 2004-05 to 2008-09.ÂReferences
