DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION

Abstract

The present era is the era of technology. Everywhere we are surrounded with technological devices and everyone is somehow familiar with technology. The foundation of all types of technology is laid down in education institutions. Education plays an essential role since it is responsible for development of society. Education is the most vital input for growth and prosperity of nation. It has the power to transform human beings into human recourses. Education in the twenty first century is the center from which all changes and development arise.
Traditional process of technology and learning in education has been replaced by new technology. It is having a major impact on all areas of education. Therefore education can be made more effective by the use of digital technology and resources made available through digital technology. In this paper, after explanation about the role of digital technology in education we will talk about the combination of education and digital technology has been considered the main key to human progress. In this paper we will talk about many advantages and disadvantages to the use of digital technology in education we will also discuss about challenges of digital technology.
