Digital Marketing refers to Advertisements delivered through digital channels such as search engines, web sites, social media, email & mobile Apps. Today, Marketing has changed the way brands & business use technology for Marketing. It is now common for consumers to post feedback online through social media sources, blogs and web sites on their experience with a product or a brand. Customers are more likely to trust other customer’s experiences. The potential reach of social media is indicated by the fact that in 2015, each month the Face book App had more than 126 million average unique users & YouTube had over 97 million average unique users.
As of 2018, all Millennials, who are defined as being born between 1981 and 1997, are well into adulthood. Millennials make up a large portion of consumers and it is becoming increasingly important to know how to appeal to this group of consumers. Many companies complain of being unable to attract Millennials, noting they are always in search of something bigger and better. Millennial today are smart, savvy & are technologically inclined & do their home work well before buying a product or visiting a restaurant. Hence digital Marketing helps in building a loyal community which gives honest feedback about the products and services through Face book, YouTube, Twitter, Snap Chat, Instagram, Linkedin & so on. This feedback in turn helps in modifying the products thereby driving the sales growth.
